Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) is needed to provide support in an elementary school setting in Puyallup, WA. This contract position runs through the current school year (CSY), from ASAP until June 16, 2026. The role requires onsite presence at two school locations, Elmhurst and Brookdale, with daily hours from 9:35 AM to 4:05 PM and expectations to arrive 15 minutes before and stay 15 minutes after the school day ends.
Responsibilities include delivering occupational therapy services to elementary students, collaborating with school staff, and maintaining compliance with local and state guidelines. The ideal candidate will have experience working in schools, particularly for COTAs, and possess a valid Washington state COTA or OT license. Additionally, candidates must be fingerprinted through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) to meet school district requirements.
